I have a Siamese Retriever

I think everyone must know by now how badly I want a puppy. I love dogs, and wish I had one right now. Now my wife wanted a cat, and I bought her one. But being the evil, cruel woman she is, she says I don't have time for a dog right now...
So Anna's new thing is playing fetch. She has these fake mice that she plays with all day and all night. I have found that if I throw them from our bedroom through the door and down the stairs, Anna will go running and pick them up and bring them back to me. She loves to play fetch, and will do it as long as I stay interested.

There are more things she has in common with dogs:
1) Play Fetch
2) Licks herself... alot!
3) Chases her tail
4) Loves people food
5) Chases Mice
6) Sleeps 22 hours per day
7) Has soft ears and tail
8) Greets me when I come home

I guess in some ways she is better than a dog:
1) She bathes herself
2) She doesn't slobber
3) She poops in a tiny box
4) She eats less
5) She won't try to hump your leg

Maybe what I just need to do is think of her as a Siamese Retriever and I won't feel so lonely.
