I woke up yesterday to about 6 inches of snow on my driveway. I immediately groaned, and thought "why me?" I remember fondly at less stressful times I enjoyed waking up early to shovel snow. I used to love shoveling snow so much! Now it seems like the only time I get a good snow storm to go out and attack, I have so much on my plate that looking at it only gives me a headache. The HOA must have me on their "naughty list" for sure this year because whenever I do get around to shoveling, I only seem to manage to shovel about half of it. I always get the sidewalks, and the deck in the backyard. I shovel a little of the driveway where it inclines up, and i definitely get a little path dug out to my truck. So my driveway looks like some lazy teenager did 30% of the job and decided to call it quits. Only the easy parts are done, and there's a huge square of 4 months worth of snow in the middle... I keep thinking that the crazy hot-cold Utah weather will wipe it out for me, but this year we have had consistently cold weather with at least one good storm rolling in each week.
Maybe I should have my interns come handle it for me...
