My puppy snores

Today I went to the SLC animal shelter and rescued a little puppy. He is a 9 week old male Beagle/Basset Hound mix. Since i've picked him up he hasn't barked even once and only whimpered a little. He is extremely mellow and follows me wherever I go. Karrie isnt home yet for the night and hasn't seen him, so i got him some reindeer antlers from the store so that she just melts. He has these droopy long ears that dip into the water when he drinks. So far he keeps crawling up onto my lap and wants to sleep there. He snores when he falls asleep. I never thought a small animal could let out so many stinky farts, but this little guy could even stink our cat out of a room! Anna (our persian/siamese cat) is all freaked out, and wont even be in the same room as him.

What a hooch! She will take a long time to adjust, but i dont care. I FINALLY HAVE ANOTHER DOG! He makes me so happy. He also has strong legs and doesnt fall when we are turning corners in my truck, which was important to me because i plan on taking my dog with me wherever I go, so he needs to be a mellow, patient animal. When I took him into Target to get him some puppy food these 2 grown women came up to me and started oozing and mushing and giggling at him, so I stopped and let them pet him. in 5 seconds there were a total of 6 women and girls putting their hands all over my new little pooch. I said "easy, easy!" and backed away... It was funny. He is sleeping in a box right next to me while I do my homework. I hope Karrie lets me keep him!
